How History Trunks Work

If you're new to history trunks, here's what to expect.
Each trunk contains a collection of replica historical objects designed to explore life in 1830s and 1840s Texas. Items range from clothing to eating utensils and examples of period food. Everyday items such as playing cards, a compass and a fire starting kit are also included. Together these objects are designed to introduce four important historical themes to students:
- Clothing
- Nourishment
- Tools
- Luxury goods
