Pursuant to its legislative grant of care and maintenance of the Alamo, the GLO requires a right of entry agreement anytime a production crew seeks access to the Alamo.
The agreement allows the GLO and the Alamo Trust, Inc. to schedule these production activities alongside preservation and education activities without interference.
Additionally, these agreements ensure production equipment or activities with the potential to harm historic structures are used in a way to which there will be no negative effect. When a video or photoshoot at the Alamo Complex utilizes the iconic image of the Alamo Church, a license agreement may be issued in combination with a right of entry.
The license agreement allows the GLO, as owner of several contemporary Alamo trademarks, to understand and keep track of uses of the Alamo’s image among interest groups and marketplaces.
