A Memorable Day or Night Out

Located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, the Alamo is the number one, most visited attraction in the state of Texas and a must-see for groups interested in history and the story of San Antonio. Book a private tour during normal operating hours, an after hours tour when the Alamo is closed to the public, or for the premier experience, a VIP private tour.

Advance booking is essential, but timing is flexible. Please submit your request as early as possible as availability can fill up quickly. Tours should be booked a minimum of two weeks before your visit, and there may be a 20% additional charge for tours reserved less than two weeks from the desired date. Private tours are also available in Spanish by request.

Private Tour

Reserve a private guided tour for your group with up to 60 guests during normal business hours. This experience is about 45 minutes in duration with a 30 minute guided walking tour and time for Q&A. The tour explores the heroes and events that have made the story of the Alamo captivating for generations of Texans and visitors, and walks along the original footprint of the Spanish mission, ending inside the Alamo Exhibit in the Ralston Family Collections Center.

$60 per guest | Up to 60 guests
If your group is smaller than 15, the total cost is $900 

After Hours Private Tour

Retrace the footsteps of the past in the solitude of an Alamo after-hours tour. Your exclusive visit will include a tour of the Church and the Alamo Exhibit in the Ralston Family Collections Center after normal operating hours. The after-hours tour offers an unforgettable experience for out-of-town guests, corporate groups, private ceremonies and receptions, and more.

$75 per guest | Up to 60 guests
For groups of 60+, accommodations can be made
If your group is smaller than 20, the total cost is $1,500

VIP Private Tour

For the premier experience, schedule an exclusive, private VIP tour with Ernesto Rodriguez, our distinguished historian with over 25 years of service to the Alamo. He is a master storyteller who will inspire you with his deep knowledge of Texas history and passion for the Alamo. Go behind the scenes to explore the heroes, events, and artifacts that have made the story of the Alamo captivating for generations.

$250 per guest | Minimum of $2,500
If your group is smaller than 10, the total cost is $2,500
