Registration is now open! Just as William Barret Travis did in his famous letter written on February 24, 1836, the Alamo is once again calling upon the people of Texas to come to its aid. We invite Texas students to answer our call!
Few landmarks are as iconic or as central to our shared Texas identity as the Alamo, the Shrine of Texas Liberty. More than 1.6 million visitors travel to the site each year, making it the #1 most visited destination in the State of Texas. The ongoing effort to restore reverence and dignity to the site through the once-in-a-lifetime Alamo Plan is well underway.
Please sign your student up for the History Heroes: Remember the Alamo challenge so they can come to the aid of the Alamo by raising funds for the Remember the Alamo Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that provides support exclusively for the Alamo and its preservation, educational outreach, and public programs.
More than just a competition, History Heroes will connect students with the rich history of the Alamo, instill a sense of pride in their home state, and inspire them through the enduring values the Alamo represents. Together, we are All in for the Alamo!
