An experienced Alamo history interpreter will take you through the area that was the original footprint of the Spanish mission complex, today Alamo Plaza, and describes the events leading up to and including the Battle of the Alamo.

This experience is about 45 minutes in duration with a 30 minute guided walking tour and time for Q&A. Your tour includes entry into the Church and ends inside the Ralston Family Collections Center where you can explore exhibits and artifacts from the Phil Collins Collection, the Donald and Louise Yena Spanish Colonial Collection, and more. Immerse yourself in 10,000 square feet of new gallery space with more than 500 artifacts – many on display for the first time!

Reservations: Advance booking is essential, but timing is flexible. Please submit your request as early as possible as availability can fill up quickly. Tours should be booked a minimum of two weeks before your visit, and there will be a 20% additional charge for tours reserved less than two weeks from the desired date. Private tours are also available in Spanish by request.

Cancellations / Refund Policy: A 50% deposit of the total balance is required to reserve the requested date and time of the tour. The 50% deposit in non-refundable unless, The Alamo receives notice of cancellation 30 days prior to the scheduled tour date. The remaining balance must be made in full no later than 7 days before the designated tour day, this will be the final payment deadline. The remaining balance may be paid any time before the deadline. If the party wishes to cancel their reservation, the Group Sales Coordinator must be notified no later than 24-hours in advance of the scheduled tour. Any payments made after the initial deposit may be refunded. Any notification of cancelation given after the 24-hour mark will not be refunded.Reservation changes or cancellations can be done by calling the Alamo Group Sales Coordinator at (210) 225-1391, x3005, or email tours@thealamo.org.

A visit to the Alamo and/or attendance at events is an agreement by the participant and/or the parent or guardian to allow the Alamo to photograph and/or film participants without compensation for possible use in digital/print marketing and publicity efforts.
