WWII to Mid-1960’s: This study was conducted by Carey Latimore, Ph.D., at the request of the Alamo Trust and funded by the City of San Antonio. The report goes into detail about the African American Civil Rights Movement in San Antonio, and how the experiences of African Americans in San Antonio are connected to the national Civil Rights Movement.
