Friends of the Alamo members get the first look at the historic Travis Letter before this exhibit opens to the public. The letter will be on display from February 23 through March 24, 2024 at the Alamo Exhibit at the Ralston Family Collections Center, on loan from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, but there will be a sneak preview for members only on Thursday, February 22.

The Travis Letter has traveled from Austin with DPS escort to return to the Alamo, the place where it was written. Make plans to see this state treasure, back at the Alamo for the first time since 2013! Avoid the lines and be among the first to see the letter during this exclusive sneak preview! Not a member?
