A Line in the Sand™ Self-Guided Experience offers the complete self-guided package with the Victory or Death™ Audio Tour, narrated by country music singer, songwriter, actor, and nine-time Grammy Award winner, Ray Benson, as well as access to the new Alamo Exhibit at the Ralston Family Collections Center and Alamo Church.

Benson's trusted voice tells the full 300-year history of the site, from its beginnings as a Spanish Mission, to its pivotal role in the Texas Revolution during the 1836 Battle of the Alamo, then later its use as a Quartermaster Depot by the U.S. Army, and finally its recognition as a Texas icon as a memorial and historic site.

Expert voices are woven throughout the tour to provide listeners with the full tapestry of historic research and conservation efforts. Those featured voices include the Alamo's own experienced experts as well as British musician Phil Collins, a world-renowned collector of Alamo artifacts who donated his collection to the State of Texas in 2014 – generosity beyond compare!

The self-guided audio tour leads you through the Alamo Church, grounds, and includes 11 stops in the new Alamo Exhibit at the Ralston Family Collections Center where you can experience the Collector's Journey in a state-of-the-art curatorial environment dedicated to preservation.
