We invite you to celebrate Independence Day weekend at the inaugural Stars & Stripes Salute concert in Alamo Plaza. This free, community event features the U.S. Air Force Rock Band with performances from Children's Chorus of San Antonio, Opera San Antonio, Youth Orchestra of San Antonio, and other surprises on the pavilion stage.
Throughout the day, we'll have family activities, food trucks, and live music. The evening will close with a spectacular drone show produced by Sky Elements over the Alamo narrated by country music artist, Pat Green. Special efforts will be made to invite Joint Base San Antonio active-duty military personnel and their families to this event.
Tentative Schedule:
Family Activities – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Live Music – 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Drone Show – 9:30 pm
