The Alamo is excited to announce a free educator workshop, Teach the Alamo: STEAM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium at the Witte Museum. Educators who are accepted to the workshop receive a free STEAM kit designed for grades 4-8. Each kit includes the supplies for 25 students to complete three labs on ecosystems, archaeology and the rock cycle, and cannon science (chemical reactions and energy). Educators can request additional kits.

During the workshop, educators learn how to facilitate the lesson and pick up the kits. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Teachers earn six hours of CPE credit. Please note that this is the same workshop and kit contents as those in February 2025.

Space is limited and teachers must be accepted to attend. Ideal candidates are teachers in related subjects in grades 4-8.
