Field Trips
Homeschool groups have many ways to explore the Alamo on a field trip and are eligible for school discounts on a variety of experiences. Reservations are required at least two weeks in advance of the date of your field trip.
Alamo Discovery Tour for Homeschoolers
Book space on a guided tour for homeschoolers only. The tour is 30 minutes and is offered multiple times per year. All caregivers must be ticketed and are expected to accompany students at all times. Registration deadline is one week prior to the tour.
Price: $5 per person (must be purchased in advance)

Audio Tours
A hand-held device and map guide you through 37 stops on the Alamo grounds and historic buildings.
Price: $5 per person*
Alamo Exhibit
Explore the Alamo Exhibit in the Ralston Family Collections Center. This experience may be added to any field trip option.
Price: $8 per person*
Free Alamo Church Entry
Reserve a free-timed ticket to enter the Alamo Church and explore the grounds at your own pace.
Price: Free
Surrounded! The Alamo Augmented Experience
Located in the Long Barrack, the Alamo's oldest historic structure, Surrounded allows students to explore the eras of Alamo history using VR technology (virtual reality).
Price: $5 per person
