Approx. Date of Artifact: 19th — Early 20th Century

During excavations of a unit on the south side of the Long Barrack, a possible glass bead was recovered in the upper layer of excavations.

The possible bead, which appears to be broken, may have been approximately double the size. The clear glass object exhibits some indication that the edges were slightly flattened, possibly to resemble a faceted bead.

Due to the size and color of the possible bead, it is likely that this artifact could date from the mid-1800s to early 1900s.
