In 1955, Walt Disney’s Davy Crockett King of the Wild premiered exposing a new generation of people to the legendary figure of David Crockett. The original three-part series set in motion a mass merchandising campaign that would produce many items with the likeness of Davy Crockett (Fess Parker) such as coonskin hats, music, and many other forms of memorabilia. This comic book was part of that campaign and is now part of the Alamo Collection.
