This Bowie Knife was carried by actor Richard Widmark, who portrayed James Bowie in the 1960 motion picture "The Alamo." John Wayne gifted this knife with an inscription on it to Doug Cohen, which reads, "Carried by Richard Widmark in "The Alamo" - 1960 and presented to my good friend Douglas Cohen for his participation in this film.”
