Several excavation units have been opened inside the Alamo Church, with the final units inside the Long Barrack nearly complete.
A new 1 foot by 1 foot excavation unit has opened beneath the Alamo Church doors. The excavations in this unit will not effect visitor traffic, as all work in this unit will be done after-hours.
The installation of the security bollards is underway in Alamo Plaza, which will make the Alamo a safer and more secure site.
As always, the Alamo remains open to the public during normal visiting hours, and Alamo Plaza remains open to foot traffic.
