1724 Gala

A bigger than Texas sized THANK YOU to all who attended and supported our 1724 Gala benefiting the Remember the Alamo Foundation, presented by Valerie & Jack Guenther, Abigail & George Kampmann, and Lindsay & Jack Guenther, Jr., that took place at the Alamo on Saturday, March 2, 2024! With gratitude and appreciation, thank you to all of our sponsors and special thanks to our Gala Chairs, Lauren Kate and Peter J. Holt. This event would not have been possible without their support. All funds raised will be dedicated to the preservation of the Alamo and the enhancement of its educational programs.

Guests embarked on a culinary, experiential and once-in-a-lifetime journey through the 300-year history of the Shrine of Texas Liberty. The Spanish Era: Mission in the New World took place during a cocktail reception featuring Little Joe & La Familia. Guest enjoyed dinner during The Mexican Era: Land, Opportunity, Conflict featuring live music with William Beckmann. The Republic of Texas Era: Birth of a State of Mind kicked off with a drone show produced by Sky Elements over Alamo Church and ended with a concert with Martina McBride.

It was truly an Evening to Remember! The beautiful event design and management was provided by The CE Group with catering by Don Strange of Texas.
