John Wilson, Alamo defender, son of John and Jane (Nevin) Wilson, was born in Pennsylvania in 1804. He was one of at least six John Wilsons in the Texan army during the Texas Revolution. Very little is known about him other than he died in the battle of the Alamo on March 6, 1836.
