Living historians firing muskets

The Alamo invites visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant spirit of the Wild West during its annual Rodeo Round-Up event, set to take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event, timed to coincide with the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, promises a day rich in historical education and engaging activities, all free of charge.

Experience a unique blend of entertainment and learning with our cowboy-themed day, featuring diverse living history demonstrations. Delve into the intricacies of Old West weaponry, partake in 19th-century games, and explore the art of cooking, branding, and life on the cattle trail. Alamo interpreters will be on hand, offering insights into this iconic era's fascinating history and culture.

This event is open to the public with no admission fee. Attendees are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by donning their favorite cowboy attire. Join us for a day of fun, learning, and unforgettable memories!
