Today, The Alamo proudly commemorates a momentous milestone in the history of the Ralston Family Collections Center as it welcomed its 100,000th visitor, a remarkable achievement coinciding with the center's five-month anniversary. Ms. Shannon Ralston, whose family the center is named after, graciously attended to welcome the 100,000th visitor from Hereford, TX. This extraordinary occasion marks a significant step forward in the Alamo Plan, an all-encompassing initiative dedicated to preserving the Alamo's iconic legacy, enhancing the visitor experience, and creating a world-class destination. Notably, the center's opening represented the first newly constructed building on the Alamo grounds since the 1950s.

The center proudly features remarkable exhibits, including items from the Phil Collins Collection, the Donald and Louise Yena Spanish Colonial Collection, and the Alamo Collection.
