Celebrate the fourth of July at the Alamo with a weekend full of special living history programming and live music.

From Friday, July 2 through Sunday, July 4, the Alamo's Living Historians will perform immersive demonstrations on 1800s weapons, artillery, medicine, cooking, and games. Programming will also feature a large Declaration of Independence coloring station for children, a special musket firing demonstration in Alamo Plaza, and firing drills are appropriate for children.

The festivities will kick off with an inspiring musical performance by Fort Sam's 323d Army Band at 10 a.m. Friday, July 2.
