Honor the rich history of the United States Marines during U.S. Marine Day at the Alamo on Wednesday, April 24.

The U.S. Marine Day at the Alamo event is free and open to the public. The Marines of the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion participate in Fiesta to give Texans the chance to meet with "their Marines."

The event will feature a performance by the Marine Forces Reserve Band and a demonstration of the Marine Corps Working Dogs. Guests will have the opportunity to view military equipment ranging from free-fall parachutes and combat diving gear to the latest small arms and vehicles used today by the Corps.

During Fiesta, it is tradition for military representatives throughout San Antonio to participate in receptions, parades, pilgrimages and memorials.
