During excavations of a unit on the south side of the Long Barrack, a possible bone bead was recovered between 35 and 39 inches below datum.
The circular bead measures less than a half inch in width and height. The other objects coming out of the level are mostly fragments of mortar, plaster, and some ceramics.
It is possible that it could date to the Mission Period but also could be related to the 1800s use of the site.
