This document is the arrest warrant for Lorenzo de Zavala, William B. Travis, Francis White Johnson, Robert McAlpin Williamson, Samuel May Williams, and Moseley Baker. The warrant was Issued by General Martin Perfecto de Cos soon after William B. Travis took a group of armed men to Anahuac in retaliation for the increase in troops in Texas.
This act of defiance led to arrest warrants being issued for anyone that may have been involved in hostilities against Centralist authority. Wyly Martin signed the warrant while serving as Political Chief Pro-tem. This artifact is part of the Phil Collins Texana Collection at the Alamo.
