Students get hands on with a reproduction 1830s soldier's pack.

Visit with our living historians to learn about life in the fort. Topics vary from medicine, travel, soldier's pack, sewing, etc. Programs also include a cannon dril where our living historians demonstrate the process of loading and firing a cannon as well as the palisade post for a discussion on rifles, Crockett and all Crockett-related topics, and fortification techniques.

Meet under the tree near the Welcome Center for daily demonstrations between 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
