Located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, the Alamo is the best place to watch the upcoming solar eclipses! San Antonio will be in the direct viewing path for both the annular solar eclipse on Saturday, October 14, 2023, and the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024.

Protect your eyes with our commemorative solar eclipse glasses that feature the iconic parapet roofline of the Alamo! These eclipse glasses are safe for direct solar viewing, made with pride in the USA, and meet requirements for ISO 12312.2-2015 certification. One size fits most.

Make plans to join us at the Alamo for either or both spectacular eclipse viewing opportunities! The annular eclipse is expected to appear as a partial eclipse around 10:23 a.m. with peak eclipse viewing at 11:54 a.m., and end around 1:33 p.m. when the partial eclipse begins to disappear.
