Educators, join us at the Alamo for a professional development workshop, Victory or Death Working with Primary Sources from the Texas Revolution, offered both onsite and virtual. The workshop will provide:

  • Instruction materials
  • Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours (6 credit hours)
  • Teaching strategies
  • Connections to TEKS
  • Live Q&A
  • Applied knowledge with self-study technics

The goal for this Educator Workshop is to provide the educator with knowledge on Alamo and Texas History and to also provide them with the tools to build classroom materials from primary sources available on the internet and through digitized archives.

This Educator Workshop will feature professional historians and educators from San Antonio, Austin, and Kerrville. And educators will be introduced to resources and materials from the Alamo website resources, the GLO Archives, and additional videos and curriculum resources available through connections with the Texas Center at Schreiner.
