Alamo Educator Workshop Series

In 2018, San Antonio will celebrate its 300th anniversary. Join us for a series of workshops that explore the eras of Texas from 1400 - 1865 and the integral place that the Alamo holds throughout San Antonio's 300 years.

This workshop will cover the time period from 1836-1865, and we are partnering with the Bullock Museum and the Texas General Land Office for a very special day. We will travel to Austin from the Alamo and begin at the General Land Office with a tour of the archives and a viewing of several of their maps and primary sources related to this time period. We will transition to the Bullock Museum for lunch and Civil War/Reconstruction activities using the artifacts of the museum. Educators will receive 6 CPE hours at the end of the day.
