Educator Workshops

The Alamo conducts several Educator Workshops throughout the year, often in conjunction with other organizations like the National Park System or the Texas General Land Office. Most workshops offer CPE credit hours for registered participants.

Teacher In-Service

The Alamo invites educators to attend its free In-Service conducted by Dr. Bruce Winders, Historian & Curator.  The program, which lasts from 8 a.m. until Noon includes a private tour of the Shrine, a presentation by the staff historian, a free viewing of the IMAX film Alamo:  The Price of Freedom, and ample opportunity for question and answers.

10:00 - 10:20 Return to Alamo for Refreshments
